There is nothing in this neighborhood except beautiful homes. There is no shopping, there are very few retailers here at all. The rent is too high considering the lack of conveniences and my friend's car window got busted even though he left the car unlocked so that potential thieves would not break his windows! Some of the sidewalks are in complete disarray and there is very little in the way of winter maintenance. My street is poorly lit and I don't like walking home from the bus stop at night, which I have to do because the rent is so high that I cannot afford to own and insure a car here.

Because I don't have a car, the neighborhood is nearly unlivable. The BEHD even held their annual membership party in Eastern Market this year https://www.historicbostonedison.org/event-2731268, which is flat-out embarrassing. I'll give BE stars when there is something more here than history.
