"Small town with a big heart"

Ponce Inlet is a great little town. It is typically looked at as a surfer town, but it offers much more. Besides the great beaches and waves, it is a great community. Everyone is extremely friendly to each other. The local enforcement and local government are visible and friendly. Despite the small size, there is plenty to do. There are some great walking trails, the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, a marine science center, and several recreational parks. There are also great restaurants all along the water. For pure atmosphere, I recommend Inlet Harbor Restaurant. You get to sit on their large deck in the middle of the Intercoastal waterway. On Friday and Saturday nights the local band Then to Now has the place hopping. There isn't much shopping to do in the area, but it is a great beach town to visit or live. It is one of my favorite places that I have lived or visited.
