"Sterile and cold and noisy but relatively beautiful and safe"
I've lived here for 2 years now. While Ocean Park is visually appealing and relatively safe, it is chilly year round- both in temperature and spirit. Very bland culturally. Less noisy than downtown Santa Monica but still pretty loud for an ocean side town. If you are a bohemian, you won't be happy here. I'm here for personal reasons. I'll probably move within the next two years.

- Anti-bohemian
- Cold- can't wear shorts or bathing suit even though the beach is right there
- Parking can be a bit busy on weekends especially during the summer.
