"Quiet, calm, inexpensive"

63rd street is right at the junction between Bensonhurst, Dyker Heights, and Boro Park. It doesn't have a strong identity of its own, but the area is calm and comfortable. The N train stops nearby and runs express into the city. There are cute single family homes and comfortable apartment buildings. Two grocery stores and several bodegas are accessible. This is also quite near Brooklyn Chinatown.

"Great access to the park and other plusses"

Park Slope is a super cheery neighborhood and for the most part, people have reason to be cheery. The neighborhood has tons of delicious restaurants, some great low key bars, and a very safe feel to it. Prospect Park is perhaps the neighborhood's best feature, with miles of trails, acres of greenspace, and free concerts all summer long. There are two drawbacks to Park Slope: no access to express train lines and the expensive cost of living relative to other Brooklyn neighborhoods. Restaurants, shops, and grocery stores tend to be quite overpriced, though the quality is good. In general, however, Park Slope is a great place to be for a manageable approach to life in New York City.

"Quiet and Cozy Yet Central"

R Street runs through several neighborhoods in DC, including Dupont Circle and Georgetown. The area around Dupont Circle is quite attractive, with beautiful row homes and easy access to many shops and restaurants. A favorite stop on the road is Teaism, a calming teahouse with delicious food and a serene atmosphere. An added perk is easy access to the Phillips Collection, a wonderful art museum.

"Old Washington Beauty"

Wyoming Avenue, a short stretch of road located right off Connecticut Avenue in Kalorama, is a fine example of old Washington elegance. The street is lined with beautiful homes, embassies, and ambassadors' residences. Visitors can stay at the Normandy Hotel for easy access to Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, and Woodley Park. There are no commercial buildings on Wyoming Ave, but it's a lovely street for a walk.
