"Once out of San Francisco, and in the burbs, Mission Street turns into El Camino Real all the way down the Peninsula"

El Camino Real, like Mission Street is the main thoroughfare that takes drivers from Daly City to San Jose. There is not shortage of traffic, fast food, and assorted businesses along the way. See's candies headquarters along with their flagship store are located here, along with Tanforan Park Shopping Center, and the Memorial Cemetary where servicemen, and women are laid to rest, each grave marked by uniform white stakes.

"Quiet clean street in right outside of San Francisco"

My grandparents bought their house at 562 Niantic Ave. sometime in the fifties for roughly 20,000 dollars. They sold it five years ago for amost a million! Now that's what I call an investment! I went to school at Woodrow Wilson an elementary school up the hill, and played at March Banks Park only steps away from my grandparent's old house. Niantic Ave. is less than a mile from Westlake, Ca. which is home to the Westlake shopping center. City Beach is less twenty minutes away, and the neighbors are friendly but not intrusive.

"An upscale street near bustling downtownn"

I love this street, there's a definite upscale, laid back feel . There's a host of bars, lofts, hotels, and pricey restaraunts, and if you've got a two thousand dollars to blow on a studio apartment, then it's the perfect place to live. Although, just a few blocks from the hustle and bustle of downtown, it feels like it's a world away. I've often used this street as a detour while going to and from work on Market Street . I can also appreciate that it is named for Cyril Magnin, who among other things, owned the I. Magnin department stores.
