Marina Faire is a neighborhood located on the San Fran Bay in the city of San Leandro. There are plenty of great things to do both in San Leandro and the Marina Faire neighborhood. One of the most exciting attractions that probably makes Marina Faire stand out from other areas is the annual Cherry Festival. People are drawn from the San Fran area, other parts of Cali and even out of state to visit the annual festival. The houses and churches, especially the older styled ones have a great coherent flow to the Spanish architecture, which makes many of the buildings great in both historical and architectural value. There is also great access to some docks on the San Fran bay which is pretty much a whole different world from inside the neighborhood. When you are on the bay, everything becomes alive and your senses are much more tuned in. Being close to the bay makes the houses a little more pricey in the Marina Faire area. Many of the houses follow some of the old styled Spanish architecture with a little touch of modern bungalow charm. This is a great area for older couples and families with elementary school aged children.
