"Murray Hill may kill me by way of boredom"

31st St is nice enough - we've got trees, no high rises, not too much traffic, lots of gyms and restaurants nearby, and a movie theater across the street. But Murray Hill as a neighborhood has so little personality that I question whether it's worth it to pay Manhattan rent to live here. Sure it's a little cheaper than some other 'hoods, but there's a reason.

Bottom line: if you live in NYC but would be just as happy still in college or out in the burbs, Murray Hill is for you. If you'd like a little more flavor, character, personality, whatever, check out the EVill or Harlem or Soho or anywhere else!
