"A good place for getting around"

This street is kind of insignificant if you are looking to do something with a family. It has large stores, and leads down to the water. It is also quite a dirty street, and goes a very long way. I would not reccomend this street for any shopping or restaurant's hunting.

"Industrial part of town"

This street is quite dirty and is sort of unpleasant. It is very industrious and full of factories and large stores. It is noisy and dingy. I felt quite out of place while I was there. I drove through it and saw many dangerous looking folk walking around.

"Nice place for children"

This street is a very good place if the couple has children. It is a short street, you can literally see from one end to the other. It is made up of middle class families who all have similar houses and incomes. There are a few convenience stores also located there.

"Great place for shopping and eating"

This street is a very good place to go shopping at some more of the independent stores and then after you can grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants. The whole street is full of both of these. I had an excellent slice of pizza in one of the pizza places there.

"Gross, Noisy, and Dangerous"

Willow Street is probably the most awful street I have ever encountered in Alameda. This is because the whole street is full of falling down apartment complexes and sketchy shops. It is not a pleasant street and quite honestly i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

"Peaceful Quiet Neighborhood"

This street has more upscale homes, and is located in the eastern part of Alameda California. The homes are large and are for families that have a bit more money than most, or for wealthy retirees. It is very quiet and peaceful.

"Urban area but still quite nice."

This street is in the center of the city. It is a very long street and almost all of it consists of shops and restaurants. It has a few apartment complexes. The street has a nice feel to it probably because the city is trying to keep it up because the street is also home to the town courthouse.

"Good place for middle class family"

This street is mostly residential. The homes all look the same and are mostly 3 bedroom/2 bathroom homes. The overall feel of the street is quite pleasant. It is safe, and is good for a family who are just starting out. There are also many schools nearby.

"Place that is easy to get lost"

This street is extremely long, it starts out with nice old houses at one end, but then turns into the freeway and goes into Oakland. In my opinion this street is not a very nice place. The residential end is nice, but the urban part is not. It smells very bad, and is way to noisy for my liking.

"Upscale street, perfect for spending a couple hours."

This street is quiet and has so much to do in such a small area. It reminds me of Paris, it is old and has a victorian feel to it. There are a lot of shops and art shows always available to the public. There is also a nice little ice cream shop that gives free seconds to anyone who can finish their first. I recommend it to anyone looking to spend some time alone and enjoy peace and quiet.
