"kinda a slum"

it's a trailer park. i lived there when i was a kid but my mother still resides there. it used to be nicer but with new owners it's really gone down hill. there's lots of problems with graffiti now. kids are always running around the neighborhood. there is a problem with racoons and possums. they sometimes get under the trailers. the newest part of the park is closer to the tollway so it can be noisey. i think the biggest problem is the air traffic. there is a runway path that runs directly overhead. on busy days you can hear a jet flying by every 3 seconds. we actually tested this out and it's very exact.

"perfect for first time owners or families"

Charter Hall is a nice sub-division tucked not too far away. I really like how there are a couple of small fields where children can play. We do not get a lot of traffic on this street because it is not a thru street. On a summer day you can see children roller skating or riding bikes. It's a quiet neighborhood here on Charter Hall. The neighbors are friendly but not nosey. It's a clean and well kept street. Our townhomes have a peaceful and lush bike trail that winds through this humble neighborhood. I especially love how convienent Charter Hall is to almost everything. You can walk to downtown Palatine which offers many festivals, shops, and clubs. You can even walk to the train station. We are only 5 mins away from Woodfield shopping mall and even closer to Deer Park shopping center which offers many shops and places to eat. Busse Woods is a mile away which offers miles of trails/bike paths. It's easy to turn into and out of our sub-division even during rush hour which is very nice. I think this is a great street to live on.
