"Semi Residential quite street"

Central connects Alessandro and Van Buren Blvd. Can be used to reach March ARB or UC Riverside. Although Central is a short street, it can become valuable if you are looking for a quick detour from the big streets and freeways. Road conditions are fair. Plenty of residential streets from both directions.

"Nice mountain scenary with minimal traffic."

Starting at March ARB, Van Buren takes you around landscapes and agriculture fields owned by private farmers and UC Riverside. Traffic can get heavy during the middle afternoon. Speed limit is 45+ making it a good detour to get to the 91 west from March Air Reserve Base. Van Buren also gives you access to a National Veterans Cementary near March ARB.

"Quiet street leading into UCR or into agriculture"

A street away from the city traffic. Although relatively short--converts into 14th street after passing Victoria Ave-- MLK Blvd leads you into orange crops and farms. If you don't want to avoid heavy traffic on University Ave to get to UC Riverside, using Martin Luther King Blvd can ease traffic time a bit. It can also be used to access the 215 south and north. Street Condition is fair.

"Great street connecting Riverside and Moreno Valley"

If you are in need of a detour from the 91 east, using Alessandro to reach the 215 south or Moreno Valley is a great asset. Although the street is currently going through renovations in most of the Riverside segment, it does provide an alternative to get to Moreno Valley from UC Riverside.

"Busy college street with many shopping choices."

University Ave leads straight into the heart of UC Riverside. It is a two lane per direction road, with minor damage to it. Very close to 91 freeway--both east and west-- and interstate 215.

During the week--and fall, winter, and spring quarters at UCR--University Ave becomes very congested with student and local traffic. There are plenty of gas stations, and many shopping plazas--including a theater.
University Ave becomes more mellow during nights and school breaks, and can be used as a detour from the 91 to the 215 south. The road needs more refinement but will do just fine.
