"Encino Overview"

Encino is located off the 101 just west of the 405. This makes it extremely convenient to access Sherman Oaks and also the westside. For those who find other areas of LA and the valley a bit expensive, Encino is a great alternative. A busway runs along Oxnard with plenty of park and rides with electrical vehicle chargers and bike storage lockers.

For outdoor lovers, Encino has a great, well maintained dog park at Victory & White Oak and miles of walking and biking paths. There are also several hiking and mountain biking areas on the east, west, and north sides of Encino to accommodate every activity level. There's a golf course with EV chargers and a lake with a playground next to it.

Encino has all the amenities you would find on the other side of the hill. There is an Equinox, LA Fitness, 360 Fitness, and many other fitness offerings from crossfit, Bar Method, S Factor, Pilates Plus, Core Power Yoga, YogaWorks, Bikram, etc. Encino also has Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Ralphs, Vons, Gelsons and many smaller ethnic grocers. It's just 5 miles from Woodland Hills where you'll find 2 Westfield Shopping Centers.

Encino is a bit more residential than other areas to the east, but for people who want a nice, clean, safe place to raise a family, you can't ask for a better area. Because it leans more toward the residential side, it lacks an active nightlife.
