"West Concord Living"

I live in the Concord Mews which is an apartment complex in West Concord. The Mews has apartments and townhouses and is very family friendly. If you have kids there is plenty of things for them to do at the complex itself. It has a playground, a pool, and a game center for the kids to play. There is also a lot of high schoolers who babysit in The Mews if you ever need a babysitter. This is a good place for adults as well. There is a gym you can go to in the morning or night and they have computers in the main area of the Mews (the clubhouse) in case you need to get work done. The Mews is right across from the Thoreau Club where you can work out do different sports and other activities and this is for both kids and adults. At The Thoreau Club you can take lessons or be on your own and there is also summer camps held there for kids. I usually don't drive into West Concord to eat, though they have a few places to eat there is not enough variety so I usually end up eating in places like Acton and Maynard which are almost the same distance from The Mews as restaurants in West Concord.

In the fall people pick apples, pumpkins, eat a lot of cider donuts. In the winter people usually go out to Nashoba, which isn't that far, to go sledding and tubing which is fun for both adults and children. In spring and the summertime, people tend to bike and hike. You can take advantage of the warmth by visiting historical sites in Concord such as Ralph Waldo Emerson House, Concord Museum, Minute Man National Historic Park, etc. When you are done you can grab a bite or go shopping in Concord where the restaurants and stores are all self-owned.
