"ideal college town"

a great place to live and escape the busy hectic pace of NYC. quiet tree-lined block, residents are older, not many small children, mostly older teens. College kids park on the streets within the zoning guidelines when in session, spring breaks and holiday seasons are extra quiet. university is around the corner, charter H.S. is down the block, churches, and a playground nearby, a large mall is at a nice distance. mass transit located walking distance, bus, light rail. university security guards patrol area, and fire dept nearby for emergencies. students are friendly. crime is low. a diner, chinese takeout, local bars and video store located walking distance. no great nightlife, but nice to come home to after a night out elsewhere.
