"Hidden gem in the city"

We’ve lived here for over 10 years now, and absolutely love it. First, you can’t beat the location, just a few blocks west of Peachtree between Midtown and Buckhead. Easy to get to anywhere in the city. The setting is beautiful with a mature tree canopy and two parks – you’d never know you were right in the middle of the city (except for the skyline views)! The homes are a mix of cute, original 1940s bungalows, to larger, renovated homes (many of which have expanded back or upwards with a second story addition), plus some new construction homes, including a few contemporaries. Loring Heights Park (aka the “pond park”) has been recently renovated with a huge deck overlooking the pond and a new playground for the neighborhood’s continually-growing number of kids. The Tanyard Creek Greenspace has a large open play field and two off-leash dog areas. The size of the neighborhood is perfect, large enough to support lots of activities, but not so large that you lose that neighborhood feel. We also enjoy walking to restaurants like Tuk Tuk on Peachtree and Chick-a-Biddy and others in Atlantic Station, as well as Loring Heights’ own new restaurant, Endive Publik House. See more at the voluntary HOA site www.LoringHeights.org or view available homes at www.LoringHeights.com .
