"Bridgette Drive Review"

Bridgette Drive is located on the west side of Clarksville. It is in a 1990's neighborhood. The neighbors are mostly home owners with a few rental properties to some military Soldiers. The street is generally clean and quiet. The houses are well maintained and the average price is $80,000. It is far enough away from downtown so there is not much traffic, but a five minute drive can get you to Wal-mart and every other major retail business. Bridgette Drive is a great place to live.

"Best mid sized town in the south"

Clarksville, TN is just south of the state line with Kentucky. It also borders Fort Campbell to the south. It is a great city that is growing fast, but it still has the small town feeling. The people here are very welcoming to new comers. This town is built around the military. Soldiers from Fort Campbell live in the local neighborhoods and eat and shop at the local businesses.

The city hasn't really felt the impact of the economy like the rest of the country. Home price still seem to be stable or even rising in most areas of the city. Business is still going strong, there are new retail centers going up and plans for more commercial sites are in the works.

The median home price is about $140,000 for a three bedroom home. The older neighborhoods average around $80,000 and some of the newer ones are in the upper $300's. There is plenty of housing for every budget.

Downtown is full of architecture from the early 1900's. The buildings are still standing strong and businesses have taken advantage of the spacious building styles. There are a few great pubs located downtown that help keep the night life alive. The Cumberland River runs through the west side of the city. The river boardwalk is great for families to watch boats float by in the summertime and there is a spectacular Christmas light walk through December.

Summer months provide for many outdoor activities. There is swimming in the river or local ponds and lakes, Kentucky Lake is only a thirty minute drive west from town. It offers boating, swimming, hiking, horseback riding and many other attractions. Nashville is about 45 minutes to east. So whatever extra activities you enjoy, Clarksville can satisfy your needs.

Overall Clarksville is a great city to live in with plenty of activities for every person to enjoy.
