"Cheap but not very safe"

Depending on what part of Landis you live on, I wouldn't say that this street is a very safe one. Closer to 30th street seemed to be okay, but I definitely heard of my fair share of break ins and stolen cars nearby. Close by to great shopping and the 805, and plenty of amazing places to eat at all hours of the day or night.

"Upscale living and fun shopping"

Prospect Place is a beautiful street in La Jolla that is right in the middle of downtown, with plenty of upscale shopping and nightlife. The eateries are absolutely amazing and the coffee shops are filled with friendly people. The best part of this area is its closeness to the beach. Only a block away, and one of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego.

"Great for cheap living and close to shopping"

Menlo is right in the heart of Talmage area, and is very inexpensive to live in this area. Within walking distance from El Cajon Blvd, which has plenty of shops, grocery stores, and places to eat. Also, just around the corner from schools, so it is a great area for families with children.

"Great for beach living"

This street is only several blocks away from the beach and great for all different types of families. You have everything you need in this area, and unlike some of the other streets in PB, it is a quiet street with not too much traffic. Only two blocks away from the main street which has loads of shopping, grocery stores, eateries and schools.

"Great place for students"

Within walking distance to The Art Institute of California San Diego, so it is great for students. A little bit expensive for a studio, but definitely cheaper than student housing, and you don't have to share with four other people. Very close to freeways, grocery stores, shopping, malls and places to eat.

"Quiet street, close to everything"

39th Street is a very affordable place to live as well as being incredibly close to all different kinds of shops and places to eat. Safe because it is right next to a police station, great for families because it is right next to schools, and very inexpensive for the size of the housing.

"Great place to work, eat and shop"

Morehouse Drive is where Qualcomm corporate is located. An amazing place to work as well as close to everything. Just a block away from the 805 freeway, there are plenty of places to eat and go shopping that are about a ten minute walk away. The area is safe and filled with friendly people of all cultures. Also very close to great apartments and housing.

"Close to schools, shopping and freeways"

Castle Glen Drive has an array of condos and apartment complexes that are very close to the 15 freeway, shopping such as Fry's and Walmart, and schools such as ITT Tech. The apartments and condos are very nice from my experience with granite countertops, large bedrooms and friendly neighbors. The only problem was we were only assigned one parking spot where there were three people living together and the street parking was a bit problematic.

"De Anza Mobile Home Resort - Quiet, good for families and elderly"

De Anza Mobile Home Resort is a great area for the elderly because it used to be exclusively for people over 65. It is also a great place for families with children, there is a quiet bay inside the park, a public pool with two recreational rooms and plenty of grass to run around in. De Anza is also very close to Pacific Beach, which has loads of shopping, places to eat all within walking distance to the beach.

"Parties all the time"

If you are a college student and love to party all the time, this street is for you. It is nearby SDSU and most of the fraternities, so there is plenty of drinking and partying during the week and definitely on the weekends. I would not suggest this place for a family with children or, like us, a new couple working full time and going to school full time whom need to sleep because we get up early, and need quiet because we need to study.
