"Great Place to Live"

Very close to the major highway, though there really is no public transportation in this part of NJ so you better have a car. Safe neighborhood, would recommend with children. Great places to eat off of route 35 either north or south.

School systems are okay.

"Would not be my first choice!"

I have now lived in this area for about 7 months and I am not liking it too much. The crime rate is high, the area is not well kept, the traffic is okay. There are lots of places to shop and eat in the center of town. The noise level is VERY HIGH!

"Another great street in Brooklyn!"

My best friend of 26 years still lives on this block. Not much has changed. Great place for a family atmosphere! Huge supermarket right across the street. Little well known shops in walking distance. Liquor stores, bakery, speciality shops, mass transit in walking distance.

Safe neighborhood with lots to see and do!

"Great neighborhood with lots to see and do!"

I use to live off of 82nd street around 13th ave. I loved growing up there as a kid. I would say there were about 20 kids just on my block. I always felt safe there and it was said when I moved after living on that block for 16 years!

Summer time was the best. St.Bernadette's Church and school were I went were right at the corner of my block. You had Tasty Pastry, which has the best Italian pastries and Italian ice around. I still travel every year from a different state just to eat the pastries from there. It seems like everything is in walking distant. For example: Dyker Park, 86th street under the L where you can do A LOT of your shopping for clothes and speciality foods, butchers, medical doctors etc.

The neighborhood was friendly, family oriented, and safe. Many famous people came from this area too! Also, in my opinion the school system is great as well!
