"Beautiful area with larger older homes"

This is the main entrance to the Killearn Estates area. Many people consider this to be one of the most desirable areas of Tallahassee to live, and it does have some pretty incredible homes and huge old oak trees to enjoy as you drive along, but the funky concrete structures at the opening always make me think it's 1970 again. Lots of joggers use the sidewalks along either side of Killarney Way, and it’s just about a half mile from the entrance to McClay Gardens State Park. Beautiful!

"Watch for speeders"

This is a gorgeous street that connects the Foxcroft area to the Killearn Estates area. It’s a well-established neighborhood with lots of families with kids, and several hills that seem to attract skateboarders. My only gripe is that the streets are so wide and inviting that too many people speed through this neighborhood and ignore the stop sign at the corner of Royal Oaks. Otherwise, it’s simply a great place to be!

"Peaceful neighborhood tucked into the trees"

Barclay Court is a quaint little area near the Foxcroft subdivision. The homes are older than some nearby, and they are all built nicely into the surrounding old-growth trees. There’s always one house that seems to be playing a radio, though, and fortunately it’s only noticeable because the neighborhood is so quiet. It’s a pretty peaceful area.

"Great place for an afternoon walk"

This is one of my favorite streets in the Foxcroft / Killearn Estates area to take a walk. It’s loaded with gorgeous old oaks and pines, and the architectural differences between some of the homes along the back side of Roscrea (headed toward Bantry Bay Dr.) make it a favorite.

"Hidden cul-de-sac in quiet neighborhood"

This is a tiny cul-de-sac tucked away in a beautiful area near the Foxcroft subdivision. Three of the five homes in this neighborhood enjoy permanent backyard privacy because they abut public space preserved in its natural state. It’s a small community, and is the perfect place for a backyard Bar-B-Q with friends. Love my neighbors!
