"Lots of noise!"

this street is really noisy and busy. It seems that it never sleeps. It's rich on shopping centers and boutiques, it is also good on eating out places... But I wouldn't recommend it as a place where to live or to work - unless you are the calmest person in the world!

"Find your Deal on Canal!"

You can find everything on Canal Street! It is famous for its China Town where you can get good deals on clothing, bags, sunglasses, "I love NY" T-shirts...pretty much everything. It is good on shops, bars and restaurants, although it is a little bit unclean on the street and very busy.

"Beautiful to rest on the bench and have lunch in the nearby park!"

Park Row is rather busy street itself with lots of traffic and noise. It has lots of retail stores, bars and restaurants. On one side of Park Row is City Hall Park, which is a lovely place to see. Lots of green trees and bushes and even an adorable fountain in the middle. After long walk you can finally find an outside lovely place to rest in.

"Quiet, nice street!"

1st Pl is a quite street in Downtown Manhattan. It is nice to walk there, one can visit interesting places there to broaden an outlook: like Skyscraper museum. It also leads to the Museum of Jewish Heritage which is good if you want to educate yourself in Jewish history and culture.

"Quiet and friendly"

Very friendly neighborhood, and very friendly street. Quiet, not much traffic and not many cars. Not far from the public transportation, but a few places to go such as restaurants, bars or pizzerias. A great place to live, not far from Verrazano bridge and Staten Island Pkwy. I live in that area, and i can definitely say that i'm totally satisfied, and i love peace and quietness.

"Quiet and peaceful street"

Virginia ave is one of those quiet streets of staten island where we want to spend our peaceful time. It is rather narrow, with privae houses only, you can hardly find a restaurant or a fitnessclub there. At nights it is very quiet, during the day time it is quiet as well... it is a wonderful place for families with kids, retirees and everybody who wants to live in a good neighborhood.

"Road with a good traffic conditions and good neighbors"

Mosel Ave is a rather quiet street - wide two way street with narrow crossing streets from one side and dead ends from another. This is a hill road whith no places to go: private houses all around and the neighborhood rather friendly but impatient if you spend too much time on the stop sign. The driving tests of staten island are held in that area, that's why it is not allowed for people with learners permit to drive there.

"Beautiful view"

Edgewater St is a great quiet street which allows you to escape some of the traffic on Bay St. if you want to choose a shorter rout. It is a great place to go fishing, to watch the beautifl view, the ferries which pass by, there are plenty of parking there, little spot for new coming drivers. And you just can come to the Edgewater street and just hang out enjoying the view. on one side there are some warehouses, on another water and only water.

"small yet busy"

if you move to Nicholas St, the first thing which will come up to your mind " quiet and peacefull neighborhood - a good place to live in" but when you'll live there for a while, you will notice that it is not the calmest area. The road itself is pretty narrow, with plenty of traffic in the mornings and in the evenings. Public transportation presents that's why you don't want to park away from the curb. At nights you can here loud music from the cars passing by, during the day time it is quiet. There are no places to eat on Nicholas, yet it is not far from the main roads.

"plenty of room, nowhere to go"

Tompkins Ave is a pretty wide street with a decent traffic, a great road to learn how to drive. It is rather quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There are not many places to go on Tompkins, although it is a rather historical area. Schools museums, a memorial are located in this street...at night it's very quiet almost evberything is closed, during the day time it's of average traffic of people and cars. A good street overall

"Boring enough"

Port Richmond Ave is not the busiest street, it is good on public transportation, but poor on places to go to. For example there are not that much restaurants, only pizza places and junk food places. The street itself is not that long with not that many cars on the road. It's pretty boring i should say, when i want to hang out somewhere, honestly, i would never go to Port Richmond Ave. Concerning the Night life, it is very poor.

"One of the main roads in Staten Island"

Victory Boulevard is very long, it actually crosses the whole island - from its left shore to its right shore. Victory blvd is a great place for food lovers, one can find a great amount of restaurants and cafes, besides it is great on shopping. There are really good shopping centers around that area. It is very busy street with loads of cars, but on my memory i don't remember when was the last time when the traffic stood still, although it is heavy - it always moves.

"If you want action - that is the right place for you!"

Hyland Blvd is like a picture motion, it is like a film which never ends: very wide road but with constant mad ammount of cars around! You don't want to drive there if you are a new driver. The street it self is very good! there are everything there from Limos for rent to funeral homes. If you don't know where to get anything in staten island the answer is simple - go to Hylan blvd and you'll find everything you want!

"Very busy!"

Bay street is a very busy street in the morning and the evening, during the daytime it is pretty quite . There are plenty of places to go there: bars, supermarkets, health related buildings, even a small park is around. It leads to the St George Ferry Terminal, and lots of busses goes through Bay St. Sometimes it is difficult for trafic there, because the are some very low visible hidden roads, and the new comer needs to be careful and pay a lot of attention on the crossing.
