"60th Street Philly's West Side"

My family has lived in this area for over 50 years, so I am familiar with this street. 60th street is a main street in West Philadelphia. There are number of homes mainly row homes on 60th on the North or South side. You have many transportation options from buses along Spruce, Walnut, Chestnut & Girard. Then there is the Market - Frankford Line which is the elevated train that runs from 69th Street through downtown philly to Frankford. This train connects you to just about any place in the city.

Along 60th Street between Market & Walnut you have a number of businesses where you can purchase convenience items, get a haircut, get your hair braided, a couple of local taverns, beauty supply store, laundromat and more. This is one many local main streets through out the city where you can get a little shopping done and see some interesting sights as well.

"South Street , Philadelphia, PA"

There is always something fun, tasty & interesting to do on South street. There are various eateries like Jim's Steaks & Ishkabibbles for greta steaks. Lickety Split is an old time favorite for Pizza and atmosphere. The Famous 4th Street Delicatessen off of 4th & South always has great sandwiches. If you are a seamstress or Tailor you will love the fabric shops on 4th A.K.A Fabric Row. If you enjoy retail shopping Michele Olivieri on 6th & South is an interesting stop. Unica at 3rd & South has great clothes for women & Children.

I could go on about Fluid Night Club & TLA for great concerts for some of the best artist out today. You can get anything from clothing, fabric, furniture, food, Music, tatoos, piercings, Vintage clothing and more. All of this in the Downtown Philly area. This Street is one of the main reasons why I go back home as often as possible. Check it out!
