Tymor Park has over 12 miles of trails in it. Plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian trails. The mountain biking trails are some of the most challenging in the area and are definitely work checking out if you have not already been on them. In addition to the above mentioned amenities, there are skating and hockey rinks in the winter, a disk golf course, equestrian center with jumps, riding rink, trails, & obstacle course, volley ball court, playground, camping areas, fishing and boating (you must port your boat in), and more... Programs are constantly being developed and there is activity at the park year round. For a park map or more information go to www.unionvaleny.us and click on Parks and Recreation. There is a link to the maps and programs on the left side of the page.

One park located here, and I've been past it a number of times, is called Tymor Park. Those passing through on County Route 21 can see its large baseball/softball fields right away; it also has soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and I believe it has a pool as well. It's actually the largest municipal park in the state, which is an interesting side note. I don't think there's much hiking to be done here but maybe a little light bike-riding would be in order.
The other park, Frederick E. Godfrey Memorial Park, definitely has hiking trails, as well as some of the other features as Tymor Park such as playgrounds, ball fields, basketball courts, etc.
