Is Tivoli a good place for retirees?

Perhaps, but there are a few things to take into account here. This isn't an area heavy on retirees for one thing: the average age of Tivoli residents is 35, which is over 7 years younger than the New York state resident average. Tivoli can also be a little more on the expensive side when it comes to real estate, though home prices have cratered in recent years. Finally, it's more of an artistic colony than a place where I'd imagine seeing retirees congregate. It's a perfectly pleasant and quiet village so some retirees might find that appealing, but it's a younger town at heart with a sizable group of singles.
