What is Thornton's summer concert series like?

What kind of audience usually attends these concerts? Are they family friendly, fun for singles, etc?

The concerts take place at various parks throughout the city and all are family friendly. The city even has ice cream socials at some of the concerts which are a mix of rock, blues, country, pop, and variety. Although there is a family friendly nature to the concerts there are plenty of singles enjoying the series as well and young and old alike.
