I'm reading that crime went up 60% in 2015 in Skyland (Denver). Is it becoming unsafe?

Thinking about moving to the Skyland neighborhood in Denver. I read a few articles from a couple of years ago that this neighborhood was up and coming, and it was on a list of Denver's safest neighborhoods in 2014. But then I found stats and articles that say crime was up 60% in 2015. I like the location, but I want to feel safe in my neighborhood. Should I be worried? Do you think they will get it under control soon, or is it trending to worse?
