What are the schools life in Salida? Do many kids home school or charter?

All of the schools in Salida rate higher than average, around a seven on a scale of 1-10.

It's estimated that over 34,000 students in Colorado are homeschooled, although to my knowledge there isn't a break down of where these students are. As a parent who homeschools, I know you have to register that you are homeschooling your children, but you don't even have to register them in your own district. I can go anywhere in the state, so I don't know how they keep it all straight or where you could find statistics on certain cities or counties.
