There is a dog park at 190 Flagler Lane in Redondo Beach that allows dogs to go off leash. The phone number is (310) 376-9263. The website for the dogpark is: [email protected].

Our Redondo Beach Dog Park is a fabulous community resource for dog lovers/owners. Dogs can exercise off-leash and it is open from dawn to dusk. It is located conveniently located between S. and N. Redondo at the corner of Flagler Lane and 190th Street.

The dog park on Flagler and 190th can be a great place to take your pups. It has two designated areas: one for small dogs and one for large dogs. I think the small dog park is great. The large dog area comes with its challenges. It's a huge area with lots of places for your dogs to run and play. The negative is that a lot of the dog owners don't pay attention to their pets and don't want to be held responsible for their pets' actions. It's worse on the weekends. During the week you get the regulars and owners who seem to have more control over their animals. If you use this dog park, just be vigilant and protect your knees!
Keep in mind, that the dog park is closed every Wednesday morning until noon for maintenance. Otherwise, it's open from dawn to dusk, and I've even visited it after dark and no one bothers you.
The dog park in El Segundo (on E. Imperial Ave.) is smaller but tends to be more mellow. It's worth it to check out as well. And if you want to drive a little further away the dog beach in Belmont Shores is awesome and a great place to take your dogs off leash for swimming or just for a run on the beach.

I find that the Dog park over the years has become sometimes a bit scary as some dog owners don't manage their dogs well enough.
I have two Bouvier dogs and I haven't visited the dog park in a while.
I'm glad they have the small dog run area but always be very vigilant with your pets
