Debating on taking an entry level salaried engineering job in Redmond but concerned about housing.

I would be moving with my S.O. and 2 large dogs from Montana likely around the first of the new year 2020. We would prefer a house or duplex with some yard space or free space nearby. A fenced yard would be amazing but I know were going to have to make some big changes from our Montana lifestyle. Still figuring this out but probably comfortable with upwards of 3k/month for rent. Are we crazy?
