Is Spackenkill welcoming to new people or a tightly knit community that you have to break into?

Spackenkill has always seemed to me as a place that's pretty welcoming. There's a lot of neighborhood spirit in areas but I don't really get that overarching community spirit. The only place you see "Spackenkill pride" or any equivalent thereof is probably at the high school.

It doesn't seem to be that tightly-knit either. I think that if you see that here, it's at the neighborhood level, but I can't picture it as the kind of place where it's hard to become accepted like in a clique.
