Is Arlington a family-friendly hamlet?

You know, after thinking about this, I'm going to say "meh." There are families in here and around here, but when I think of Arlington, I don't really think families. I think of Vassar College, college kids living in apartments, local businesses, and relatively heavy auto traffic. Arlington is not the kind of place where you buy three acres and make sure the kids have lots of room to play outside. It's a place where you might have a little more modest of a house or even an apartment and are living in a more active area.

It's not really unfriendly to families and it's not dangerous, but it's not the first place I'd think of as far as being family-oriented.
