Relocated-GA to Pasadena, CA. Need a good spot to relax and get work done (i.e. study, read, etc.)?

I've just relocated to Pasadena and need a place to do some reading and studying. It doesn't have to be extremely quiet, more about the atmosphere. I truly appreciate the helping hand.

Here are a couple of spots that I think are great for reading and having a cup of joe:

1. The Pasadena Public Library one East Walnut--it is a great, university style library where you really feel like what you are studying is important. You will also be surrounded by others who seem to also be actually studying.

2. Intelligentsia on Colorado is a pretty good place to get down to studying, or prettending to study while people watching. Go on a weekday though, it is pretty packed on weekends.

Those are my suggestions.
