Thinking about buying a house on Clinton Springs but I am afraid of the crime

I notice that most of these ratings are 2+ years old, has the crime changed? I did look at the crime report but wanted to get a feel from people that actually live there. My husband and I currently live in Norwood and love North Avondale because of the beautiful streets, homes and it sounds like the community is very involved. With that said we wanted to get an idea of what Clinton Springs is like, would you personally live on that road or would you wait until something comes available on like Rose Hill or Beechwood? Any help and opinions would be very much appreciated.
