Noho is a fantastic neighborhood. It's central to everything and it's very cute. You are a hop, skip and jump to Soho, Greenwich, East Village, Lower East Side, you name it. It's close to transportation and the home to some of my favorite haunts, (like Von). The only downsides to Noho are that 1. the area can be very heavily tourist ridden which makes it loud and a nightmare on the weekends and 2. It's a popular area so it's quite expensive.
