The only quote I know of regarding NY and this one is old, "The city that never sleeps." That's it. Anyone have any quotes to share.

@JenMac: I like yours. I would love to see someone with good manners. Not too many people showing them around the city.

@hhusted and JenMac: You know what bugs me? When a guy burps when he is on the phone and doesn't say "excuse me."

Considering the last guy I dated went pee while I was on the phone with him, I'm alright with the burping.

@Freyja4: I agree about burping. Any time I burp, whether it is on the phone or in person, I always excuse myself. It is being courteous and mannerly.

@Freyja4 UGH. A guy that had a crush on me used to do that all the time. Obviously, it didn't work out in his favor.

@JenMac Is that the awful guy? He just got even more awful....

And I wonder if that Arthur Clarke quote came before or after the Frank Sinatra song with similar lyrics?

@JenMac Maybe that's a sign he feels some kind of intimacy, in his own awkward boy way? YOu only ever want to share private things with people you trust.

Or is he, like BraodwayBK suggested, the awful guy?
