New Law Prevents Drunks from Carrying Guns

Today, Mayor Bloomberg, in cooperation with State Senator Jeffrey Klein, announced the introduction of legislation that would make it illegal for anyone to carry a gun if they are drunk. This bill will help cut down on illegal or unwarranted gun use.

The only problem with this law, is who decides who is drunk. What if the person, who got drunk, already had a gun in the glove box or trunk of car, and was using it for one purpose, and that is protection. Does this mean the gun will be used against him, since he owns the gun.

Many questions. What do you think about this new law?
