Health Care Facilities get the Royal Flush
Not too long ago, five health care facilities flushed pharmaceutical waste into the New York City watersheds, toilets, and sinks. By doing this, these five health care facilities potentially put to risk about 9 million people's drinking water.
It is becuase of what happened and the dangers involved that New York General Andrew Cuomo went after these five health care facilities. They have agreed to stop disposing of all drugs in the appropriate manner that will protect watersheds, and the drinking water.
