Flu Prevention in NYC
If you have not gotten the flu so far, be the lucky one. Because many people have gotten sick form the flu so far. It is because of the mnay cases of the flu that Mayor Bloomberg decided to launch Flu Fighters Initiative. This inititive will help bolster flu prevention in the city this winter season.
Mayor Bloomberg, along with Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services Gibbs, Commissioner of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Dr. Farley, and the NYC's Chief Service Officer Billings-Burford came together to launch Flu Fighters, with the hope they can take the steps necessary to stop the spread of influenza.
