City Council Almost Unanimously Passes Budget

NYC's Government finally passed a city budget. The problem is that 30 senior centers will be closed and 2,000 municipal workers will lose their jobs.

Based on facts at hand, library hours will be reduced. I assume this means that so many librarians will be let go.

I see no one is commenting on this. The problem with the budget is that there still will be cuts in city services. That can affect the way the city operates. Not a pretty picture.
