Cheap accommodation

Does anyone know where there is cheap accommadation for three weeks near Monitor street?

The rates are totally reasonable for New York and it even has a pool.

Yeah, for short stays try the YMCA.

Was the YMCA okay? I've never stayed there and wondered if the conditions are clean and safe enough to be recommendable to others. I've been compiling a list of affordable hotels in the city here:

But all of the options listed so far are in Manhattan.
