There are tremendous neighborhoods throughout St. Paul for young families to raise their kids.
Highland Park boasts of shops, restaurants and parks that families frequent. The library/rec center on Ford Parkway is undergoing renovations that will make it an even greater magnet for young and old alike. There are also great public and private schools to suit your tastes.
Merriam Park is the home of Kopplins coffee, Izzy's Ice Cream, and the Blue Door Pub. The best java, ice cream, and burgers in town. There are also great schools like St. Mark's in this quiet and affordable neighborhood.
Finally, Mac-Groveland is a true hub of St. Paul, with tremendous schools and parks throughout one of the Twin Cities most desirable locales.
St. Paul is like a small town, you get to know not only your neighbors but their friends and neighbors as well. Whether you're gathering at the park or getting an ice cream cone, you'll always run into someone you know - or make new friends!

There are many, Eden Prairie is an area where you will find a strong population of young families as well as Maple Grove. For a closer in to the city St Louis Park is home to many young families. West Bloomington is another family centric area of the Minneapolis suburbs.
