I would suggest checking out Minnesota Monthly Magazine or the Sunday Trib, Entertainment section to get a feel of what's available. The list is long and diverse, so it depends on your taste. Children's theater, comedy, local small, local established and large, amateur vs. professional…
One thing is for sure - Minneapolis and St Paul is the place to be for theater!
