@hhusted there are many more green markets in NYC which are seasonal( the 82nd green market between First and Second Avenues- my local green market). This list is for those that stay open all year round. @BrodawayBK I usually visit the Union Square green market and have been to the one on Dag Hammarskjold Plaza and 77th Street.

Oh, cool! This is one list I've been wishing existed. Most of us can tell where the markets are by glancing at the street names, but for people who are new to New York, might be useful to just note which ones are in Manhattan and which in Brooklyn. Excellent work with this one!

@uptowngirl-you are right about finding them. I went to the 77th St store once and found a lot of great stuff. I also paid a visit to the Union Square green market a few times and like what they have to offer. This is one of the best I have seen in NYC.

If you are new to NYC, take one of many trains, or the bus to 14th St and you are right there. Incredible experience.

I don't know about anyone else, but it seems that the places you go is according to taste. If you like good food, want to spend money, but are willing to face huge crowds, Union Square would be right for you.

Anyone else have any particular taste in locations in the city?
