Crime statistics aside....Los Feliz has a more urban feel than the Valley communities such as Burbank and Glendale. If you like an Urban feel you may not want to consider the Valley. Otherwise...Burbank and Glendale both have the more suburban/family feel and have highly rated schools and community organized activities for children.
