How safe is Jefferson Ave, Bushwick?

Hi, I'm a grad exchange student from Europe moving to NY. I found a place on Jefferson Ave, Bushwick, and wondering how safe it is? I'm 27yo female of Asian descent, don't usually go out late at night, at a max probably dinner/late drinks up till 10pm ish. Thanks in advance!

Jefferson Ave bordering Ridgewood is fine. Near Broadway on the other hand is pretty seedy since there's a lot of the Bed Stuy housing projects there. If you can stay near Wyckoff ave going into Ridgewood.
