Any tips from locals for bars in Hyde Park, Chicago?

You can also check out the Checkerboard Lounge which has wonderful blues music, or try Seven Ten Lanes where you can also bowl or play pool.

The University of Chicago Pub is a lot of fun, obviously it's a younger crowd, but still lots of fun. The Woodlawn Tap is also pretty good, though I prefer the UIC Pub.
