Not usually, but the volume of cars passing through the central part of the hamlet is increasing. Where Routes 82 and 376 converge is becoming busier and all of the shops and restaurants there tend to buzz with activity nowadays. Whatever traffic builds up typically isn't brutal, but nevertheless you will notice the number of cars there, especially if you're sitting at a light and are about 7 or 8 cars deep. It does happen, but traffic does flow in Hopewell, even at peak hours.
