What the best thing about Historic Downtown Grand Junction?

What I love is all the art that lines the streets. Most of them are sculptures created by local artists. The fountains are also really wonderful, especially if you have kids who can play in the water during the summer. The shops in and around the downtown area are really fun little boutiques, bakeries, and cafes; it's always great to grab a bite from one of the local restaurants.
