apartments in and around foster city

Looking for a good apartment which is surrounded by lot of options for dining, shopping, hangouts, groceries, etc. Something that is closest to commute to 94404. I see there is no downtown in foster city but only nearby. I work at 94404 but I see its totally residential and there seems nothing around. I may not have a car so want to live nearby where I will have options to walk and go to places.
