Where are the best neighborhoods in Fort Collins to check for 1st time home buyers?

One of the things that I love about Fort Collins is that many of the neighborhoods are so very mixed with both affordable, and not-so-affordable housing. There truly isn't one part of town that only has the McMansions - you can pretty much find something affordable under $250K in just about any geographic area within Fort Collins. Which makes it great if you're having to factor things like a commute to work into your decisions.

That is a great part about a city to not have really really nice neighborhoods and then others that are considered "ran down", Fort Collins is on the top of my list for cities that I might move to in Colorado-Thanks!

My husband and I are also looking at moving in the next year or two and we have Fort Collins as one of the places on our list. I have yet to hear anyone say anything negative about the town, it seems as if everyone loves it.
