What a fun question, and some info I need to brush up on! I am not sure I can answer this exactly BUT I did find some important, iconic info about Ft. Collins in the process....Silver Grill Cafe located right in the heart of old town and known for a great breakfast is the oldest restaurant in FC..... the oldest building that is still in operation is the Lindell Mill now known as the Ranch Way Feeds building. This mill was originally a flour mill originating in 1868. This site was chosen due to the close proximity of the Poudre River which proved beneficial for the flour making process. It remained a flour mill until 1948... I know there are several historic homes around the area that are from this era that are still in existence today! Hope that was helpful and informative for your history hunt!
