What are the best hiking trails in Fort Collins?

I know Horsetooth Reservoir is a popular one - are there any others?

If you just want a casual walk in or around town (North) there is the Poudre River Trail. Nice paved trial along the river.

Now that's an impossible question to answer! It depends on your level of fitness and how comfortable you are on trails. The City of Fort Collins has two great publications, free. "Tracks and Trails" a calendar of guided trail walks - a good way to explore our trails system. There's also the "Natural Areas Map" which, as far as I know, shows every hiking trail in the city including Lory State Park and Horsetooth Mountain. Happy hiking!
